Privacy policy
This page explains what IAM Celebration learns about you when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect only what a form asks for, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
- Enquiries and waitlists. When you ask to join a sign's events or leave your email for a season, we keep what you enter: your name, email address, your sign, and the size of your group if you gave it.
- Work with us. When you apply as an ambassador, artist, producer, sponsor or venue, we keep the details you submit on that form, which can include a phone number, links to your work and information about your organisation.
- Membership. When you join, we receive your name, email address, the plan you chose and the status of your subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe; your card details go to Stripe and never reach this site.
- Tickets. When you book tickets, we keep the name and email address you give with the order, what you booked, and whether each ticket has been used at the door. Card details for a paid ticket go to Stripe and never reach this site.
- Your sign profile. The name and birthday you enter when finding your sign are saved in your own browser so the site can remember you. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. They reach us only if, at the end, you tick the box asking for your season's news and give an email address: then we keep your name, birthday, sign and email so we can tell you when that sign's event is announced. Every such email carries a link that stops them; no sign-in is needed.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry or application and arrange your place at an event.
- To tell you when the events you asked about are announced.
- To run your membership and handle billing questions.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your details. We share them only with the services needed to run the site: Stripe, which processes membership and ticket payments under its own privacy policy, the service that delivers the emails we send you, and the company that hosts this website. When an event you have asked to attend requires it, we may give the venue your name and group size.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's storage to remember your sign profile, and Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout to prevent fraud. When a member signs in through the link we email them, one cookie keeps them signed in on that device for up to thirty days, or until they sign out. It holds nothing but a signed session marker.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, applications and waitlist entries for as long as they are useful for the purpose you gave them, and membership records for as long as your membership is active and afterwards as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or ask us to stop contacting you. Event announcements can be stopped with the link in any of them. Write to estuardomedaandco@gmail.com from the email address you used and we will act on it. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights.
Younger guests
This site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their details. Membership can only be bought by an adult; see the Terms. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
